Woodfines Solicitors is pleased to announce that it has again been recognised in the national legal directory, the Legal 500, which was published at the end of September.
The directory is published annually, and provides research into the performances of lawyers and law firms, before placing them into benchmarked rankings.
The directory splits its rankings into geographical areas, meaning that Woodfines’ Bedford and Milton Keynes offices fall into the ‘South East’ region, whilst Cambridge falls into the ‘East Anglia’ region.
Woodfines’ Company Commercial team was highly recommended this year, with Managing Partner, Neil Gibbs, described as ‘superb’, whilst Senior Associate, Alice Wooler, is also recommended for her ‘depth of knowledge and ability to connect the dots’.
The firm’s Private Client team remains a ‘Top Tier’ firm for the South East region, and is expressed as both ‘very professional in a pleasant and helpful manner’, and as having ‘very efficient response times and ability to explain matters in plain English’. Department head, Stephen Patch, is described as ‘approachable and amenable’, whilst Mikhala Leak was recognised as a Next Generation Partner.
The Private Client team is also highly commended in the East Anglia edition of the directory, with the team described as having ‘a great level of experience and an excellent industry reputation’. Partner, Tim Addinell, was also specifically noted; ‘Tim Addinell’s level of experience is unmatched. He is highly professional and well liked by clients’.
The Commercial Property team is also noted in the directory, with research highlighting that the team has ‘a wide range of services and staff who are always happy to be contacted and who also keep us updated which makes Woodfines a law firm easy to recommend and deal with’. Additionally, Partner, Suzanna Stephenson, was highlighted as a Next Generation Partner within the team.
Maria Koureas-Jones from the firm’s Dispute Resolution team was noted as being ‘practical and friendly to deal with, showing good expertise and a commercial approach’, whilst the Employment team’s Nick Sayer also received praise for his experience and expertise; ‘Nick Sayer is an exceptional lawyer. He has a very wide knowledge of employment law and is able to deploy that to excellent effect in representing clients’.
