Woodfines has once again been recognised in the Legal 500 directory, a legal guide to law firms and solicitors in the UK, which is compiled after detailed analysis by experienced researchers of submissions made by law firms across the UK.
The Wills Probate, Tax & Trusts team in Bedford were noted for their handling of complex estate planning and ability to “offer wisdom and expertise over a broad spectrum of situations, in a manner which can easily be comprehended” whilst still being “very thorough and friendly.” Mikhala Leak, who oversees the team in Bedford was also named as a ‘Next Generation Partner.’
Members of the same team, based in Cambridge, were acknowledged for their “expertise, communication and efficiency” with Tim Addinell, who heads up the team being noted as “vastly experienced” and “well regarded for his expertise in estate and succession planning for business owners and directors.”
The Employment team who provide advice and act for both employers and employees, were praised for their services to clients in East Anglia by providing “personal, professional and relevant” advice. Partner, Nick Sayer was not only recognised as a ‘leading individual’ but also acknowledged for his “prompt response and thorough advice”, as well as keeping clients fully appraised of the latest legal updates throughout the pandemic.
The Commercial Property team who advise the retail, transport, leisure, hotel, office and industrial sectors on a broad range of commercial property matters, as well as acting for landlords and tenants on commercial leasehold transactions were also noted for their ‘very high standard of professional services” in the South East which are “consistently provided by the Partners and staff at all levels.” Suzanna Stephenson who heads up the team was praised for being “down to earth” and “giving clear and full explanations.”
