Looking to train as a solicitor with Woodfines?

At Woodfines, we believe in giving our trainee solicitors the flexibility and autonomy to work directly with clients on live matters as soon as possible. This provides a real-life, hands-on experience from, often, an early point in your training career.

The firm is dedicated to giving you the best training possible across a broad range of areas and also providing you with the tools needed to become a qualified solicitor.

What does a training contract involve?

Trainees usually undertake four seats in a mixture of contentious and non-contentious practice areas. The fact that a number of the current and former partners completed their training with Woodfines shows that starting a career at the firm could well lead to greater rewards.

Woodfines Summer Work Experience

We offer work experience placements across our offices during summer each year. Applications are open until 30th April, and placements are for one week. Spaces are extremely limited, and we can only offer placements to students studying law in their first, second or third year of university.
