Interim Orders
Interim orders are temporary measures while a case is ongoing:
- Interim Care Order (ICO): This is given if the court believes the child will likely suffer significant harm and needs protection. It the Court grants the order the Local Authority share parental responsibility.
- Interim Supervision Order (ISO): This allows Children’s Services to offer advice and assistance and to befriend the child but does not grant them parental responsibility.
