A post nuptial agreement is an agreement made between parties when they have decided to separate, or it could be if they wanted to have a prenuptial or ‘prenup agreement’, but didn’t manage to get it done in advance of getting married.

The agreement sets out what their respective entitlements to each other are and how the family finances should be divided between them. It will record what their wishes and feelings are in that respect.
