In 2017-18, there was a review of the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) application fee to register a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) or an Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA).
As a result, on 1st February 2018, the Ministry of Justice launched the OPG refund scheme.
What this means is that you can get part of your application fee back if you applied to register an LPA or EPA between 1 April 2013 and 31 March 2017.
For full information; including eligibility, how to register for your claim and how much you may be able entitled to, please visit the OPG Refund Scheme website.
