Esther joined Woodfines in 2016 and has over 35 years of experience in writing Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, estate planning, probate administration, trusts and other related issues.
She is from north Buckinghamshire and is the third generation of solicitors from her family.
Esther now lives in Bedfordshire and has previously worked at law firms in both Bedford and nearby Milton Keynes. She is also a full member of Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Esther is based in the firm’s Milton Keynes office, but also sees clients in Bedford as required.

What was your First job?
My first job was doing the post at my Father’s solicitors practice, in 1976. There were always lots of letters to send but a few were to local estate agents, banks and solicitors all within walking distance of the office which I had to hand deliver. Sometimes I would man the switchboard when the receptionist, Diane, was off. Diane still had an enormous bee hive hair do from the 60s and she would carefully position her headphones within her hair!
Tell us something that not many people would know about you?
After doing my law degree I took a two year break and spent part of that time working as a croupier on a cruise ship which plied between Miami and the Bahamas.
